Mascara application has over time grown up to be one of the most popular makeup techniques. What we mean by this is that a good amount of people, even the ones whose makeup isn’t their cup of tea, tend to have a soft spot for mascaras. Mascaras not only make your eyelashes darker and slightly curled but also can enhance the whole appearance of your eyes by volumizing your eyelashes. However, basic application of mascara may not just do the job as there is more to it when it comes to volume and length.

For this hack applying powder on freshly applied lashes builds up on the volume and length of your lashes. Repeat the process to the volume and length of your liking. If the clumping is too much, you may use a clean spoolie to comb up your lashes. The third trick is for dry mascara. If your mascara dries up and is flaky when a good amount of product is still inside, you can dip the mascara bottle in a cup of hot water to melt off the product. By doing this, the product can easily be manipulated to be reused.

Finally, for those who love their lashes curled up pretty much the whole day, investing in an eyelash curler should be the first step. Otherwise, this hack involves warming up the metal part of the curler with an air dryer or lighter until its temperature is just comfortable for the eye. Be careful with this step as it can cause burns around the eye. Ensure the curler cools down to a point where it is comfortable for your lips before placing it around your eyes. Afterward, work the curler on your lashes then hold for a few seconds. Apply your mascara according to hack one or two; to your liking. When applying mascara in accordance to step one, ensure that the mascara is reapplied when the first layer of mascara is still wet. This will allow your lashes to remain curled up for at least 16 hours.
