I cannot believe I used to think that I could dive into the makeup world without makeup brushes. Brushes were so expensive and every time I would think about it I went back to using beauty blenders. I know, beauty blenders are also part and parcel of the excellent blenders but have you tried high quality brushes? I would assume you are not ready to fall in love because of all the commitments.

Makeup brushes have become such a necessity in the makeup industry but nobody tells us that quality makeup brushes form the foundation of professional makeup. In a quick chat with some of my favorite makeup artists, they confessed that they heavily invest in makeup brushes because if the quality is low, the finished look becomes undesirable and when high, the latter. When choosing a high quality makeup brush, the texture should be the first consideration. The bristles should be soft and held securely by a metal ferrule to prevent shedding. The bristles should also be firm, stiff, and dense to create a smoother finish.

That aside, buying a quality brush will save you the need to replace brushes every other time because who doesn’t know poor quality does not last long.
